“Thank you so much to Liberty Hospice for the utmost care, assistance and support for my mother whom had dementia. She, Gary(my husband) and I were thoroughly pleased in all aspects with our hospice journey with my mother that started shortly after placing her in assisted living. The guidance and prompt care as needed whether with a phone call or a visit was very much appreciated! All of our questions and concerns were answered quickly during our hospice journey! The guidance and support went above and beyond! My mom, Gary and I felt as if our hospice team became an integral part of our family! Karen, our social worker, was so special to us in our journey! She was always there with a smile and helped us in anyway we needed. From visiting mom to assisting with her transitional moves to memory care and then skilled nursing. Also, Sonja, mom’s Chaplin, was a God send! Mom always looked forward to her biweekly visits! She would pray with her and fed mom as she needed in her decline. Also her nurse, Cassandra was a blessing as well! She was always helpful with staying on top of mom’s medications and healthcare! There are other on call staff with the Liberty Hospice team that helped us on the weekends. I remember Gail and Sarah, with their prompt help. They helped greatly in a time of need. Anyone we came in contact with, through my mother’s dementia journey were truly a blessing! We could not have nor would have wanted to go through this journey without your wonderful services, caring, help, professionalism and the closeness we experienced. If you, your loved one or family are ever questioning if this is a good fit, call them! They can help you, your loved one and your family.
