Dr. Flores was very informative and knowledgeable of the preventative measures we can take to preserve our eye health which I find is imperative to wholesome patient care. River was wonderful assisting me with my new eye ware and was honest when it came to choosing what was best for me. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue. Big love!
10/10 would recommend again to anyone! After my partner and I’s visit with Envision I am still BEAMING with delight from my experience & can’t wait to continue services there! Buckle up because this is going to be a LONG review!
If you’re looking for quality optometric care that’s easy to find, with a environment/staff, that’s accessible for all people, Envision Eyecare is definitely my top recommendation in Asheville. The location is easy to find and there were even signs that helped guide you to the parking lot. I walk in the door and my first thought was “WOW, it’s beautiful in here” Not only are you greeted with warm lighting, calm music, a clean & inviting environment. But you’re also greeted with smiles from EVERY staff member, and even directed towards refreshments while you wait. It seems like everyone is genuinely happy to be there which makes your overall experience feel better because you know you’re in good hands! Honestly, it almost made me want to work there myself!
Also for my POC in Asheville looking for GENUINE high quality care in the area, this is your place! There’s lots of diversity on the staff, and it feels like their clients are top priority. We got there close to closing, and typically at any other place they would rush to finish the process, but every staff member made sure they took their time with us in order to optimize our treatment so we could leave feeling seen and cared for, which is a refreshing feeling.
Two people I want to highlight specifically were Dr. Flores who served as our optometrist for the day and Sam Greene our Optical Expert/Team Member. Dr. Flores was kind and friendly and it’s very clear that he is passionate about his job & clients! He even took the time to EDUCATE us on what he was doing and why, and took an extensive amount of time choosing the PERFECT prescription for us. Other places have rushed through the exams or say that our eyes are bad and don’t know what to do, so the fact that Dr. Flores took extra time to give us the proper care feels meaningful. Plus, a doctor that educates you on what’s actually wrong or what they’re doing, instead of talking at you and making you feel bad about yourself, is ALWAYS going to have a win in my book. GO SEE DR. FLORES!!
Another person I was highly impressed by is Sam Greene! She was very friendly with my partner and I from the moment we walked in the door. She made sure to offer refreshments and have sweet and funny conversations with us that made us feel comfortable from the start. Then after our exam with Dr. Flores she walked us back to her desk to find the perfect frames for glasses. Optical Expert is the EXACT title deserved for these team members. Anywhere else you spend hours looking for the perfect frames and even then still feel like you haven’t found “the ones” but with Sam, it’s like she just knew exactly what we were looking for, it was actually hard to pick just one! Something that she said that stuck with me is “It’s not about what anyone else thinks, I want you to pick out the glasses that YOU feel best in” as she continues to direct the mirror only to you, so that when YOU look in the mirror, you like the way you look! That was so touching! Finally, at the end, Sam Greene and River Spade worked together to figure out the right price that worked best for us, which was SUPER helpful! Envision eyecare is very financially accessible! If insurance is a problem, they have plenty affordable payment plan options as well!
I am just overall pleased and exuberant from my entire experience at Envision. Don’t walk, RUN to envision eyecare and get the best care for you!
Andrea Cantrell is the best! I have been working with her for years each time I need new glasses. She's so helpful and not pushy. She'll even look directly in the sun for you with her glasses on so you can see how the transition lenses will work and look 😎, before you buy them. If that's not commitment to helping her customers understand what their buying, I don't know what is! 😍 She's just genuinely lovely all around and Envision is lucky to have her.
