“Because of experiencing hair thinning, I’m very reluctant to let someone unfamiliar cut my hair. After living in Dallas, D.C. and Tampa failing to appreciate services rendered, I completely let my hair grow wild for 2 years and would cover it with a turban.

Visiting Jackson, someone highly recommended I give Chris a chance and I got every dimes worth of service. I wanted one thing and he was willing to do it, but he carefully recommended a different vision and helped me see that his idea would be better suited for my situation. I have never been more comfortable.

Located just outside of Fondren, it’s the perfect place to get a cut then go sit at a bar with confidence and collect compliments. I will definitely be back.“

“Having passed this place countless times before, it was a surprise to learn just what “Maurice’s” was after a search for local barber shops; a “BARBER” banner would have saved me time, and an unfortunate visit to another shop in the area, as the location is very convenient.

Warmly greeted, I didn’t have to wait long for a seat in the chair, and after a quick consult, I agreed to the suggestion of a few layers, despite only coming in for a beard trim and to have my ends cut; next thing I knew, the trimmers were trimming, and trimming, and trimming; as she said at the end, my wings had indeed been clipped.

That said, I have been very happy with my cut, and received many compliments; definitely will be back.“

Marquis did an AMAZING job (my son got a fade) and anticipated my questions and thoughts as a mother before I even had to ask.
