“My wife recently went to the location closer to Town and Country to get her hair cut for donating, and found the people there very nice. So, my oldest daughter needed to get her hair cut before she starts her new internship next week, and decided to give this one a try, since it is right around the corner from out home. While we were there, we also decided to get my youngest daughter's hair cut, as well. Also, I am 2 months shy of 54, have generally cut my own hair since I was 19, and do not like other people touching my hair. I was disabled in 2023, and it became impossible for me to cut my hair. My wife helped me buzz cut my hair a couple times since then, but at the time, I had not had my hair cut in over a year, my hair was well over my ears and past my shoulders, and I didn't want to get another ugly buzz cut, so I decided I would let my guard down and let someone else touch my hair. It was not busy when we went in a little before 2 PM on a Wednesday, so we were also taken care of rather quickly. One other person came in with an appointment, who took the next open seat after my daughters were seated and before I was seated, but I still didn't have to wait long. Both of my daughters hair looked very nice when done. What was very nice, is that my hair is slightly thinning on top front and full everywhere else. I was scared that I would get a bad hair cut that made my top look like it was thinning more. My wife and I gave the lady very little instruction on what I wanted other than that. She was very quick, and she listened to me about why I didn't like other people touching my hair, understood, and perfectly set me at ease. My wife was very impressed with the results. We gave the middle tip for each of my daughter's cuts, which we thought appropriate, but for mine, I was extremely happy to give the top tip. You could see how nice my haircut was by how my wife looked at me when it was done. I do mean she was very impressed. The only issue we do have is the limited parking space alloted for Great Clips, the nearby apartment complex truck delivery access creates a bad parking situation because trucks block people in while they are waiting to get out. The other parking issue is that there are handicapped spots for every shop or restaurant up until the parking gets to the nail salon next door and the Great Clips. Now, I didn't have to walk extremely far with my cane, but for anyone needing the wider space to get in or out of their vehicle, or need a closer distance to the door, might find it difficult to gain access to this Great Clips. Even still, this is not the ladies', who cut our hair, fault. This really isn't the fault of the Great Clip franchise, but it sure is the problem of the lease holder. We will visit this location again, but it will only be during non peak hours when the parking access is a little better. The stylists were all knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, kept us relaxed, and were absolute professionals.
