I’ve been to Chris at Locke hair 3 times now and every time it’s the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I have 2C/3A curly hair and I’ve had to move around a lot, which means I’ve had to try many different hair salons and many different stylists. Out of all of them, Chris has been the most meticulous and consistent by far. He really cares about every little piece coming out perfect. He’s also very fun to chat with. Highly recommend.
Mattie did such an amazing job! She was so kind and really listened to what I was wanting done with my hair- she did a perfect job at giving me exactly what I asked for!
The salon itself is very clean and has an overall good vibe to it! Everyone was so kind and helpful and I will definitely be back here! :)
I've gotten my hair permed by Marcy twice (Jul'25 and May'26), and it was a great experience both times. They're very good about making sure you're comfortable every step of the way. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and a lot of the stylists are LGBTQ+. My perm + cut ends up being around $250, and Locke Hair has a no-tip (or tip-already-included) system.
