BEST GUITAR SHOP IN STL FOR DECADES! I won't trust anyone else setting up my guitars. The entire crew there are proficient and extremely knowledgeable. Billy Barnett is a masterful Guitar Guru as well, for those looking for lessons!

Gravity Strings doesn't have the largest selection of vintage guitars and basses in the St. Louis area, but it's very good for their overall modest amount of floor space. There are some real gems there, so don't omit shopping at Gravity on your guitar pursuit adventures! Two years ago I bought a 1980s Martin dreadnought from this shop that quickly became my favorite acoustic guitar! Their repair work is top-notch and I've had it done for both warranty (they're a Gibson authorized repair shop) and non-warranty issues. Need a repair for your Guitar? One of the best Luthier's is St Louis Area and further.. J Gravity Strings. Dropped off a true Train Wreck earlier this year with a long list of problems. Just too many to list.Now I have as close to Original, A Vintage 1974 Gibson J-160E, that Sounds and Looks fantastic.Neck Reset, Neck Block Repaired, New Homemade Bridge, Bone Saddle installed, Headstock Restored, Truss Rod Repaired, Frets Leveled and Crowned and Stringed and Set up plus plenty of TLC.I now have a great example of some Gibson History that not only Looks Great but plays better than ever..Bit of History, a Gibson J-160E was used on a majority of Beatles Recordings.So....Time...read full review
