“My husband and I, had taken a mini vacation! Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine that his death would unfold before my very eyes. It was devastating and very traumatic. It was the worst day of my life. I was in total shock and disbelief of his passing. As I gazed around our hotel room, not being able to sleep. Filled with numbness. By the grace of God, some friends helped me, get home . I had lost 5 pounds in one week due to stress and grief. Knowing that my husband body was still out of town . I called , Baucom’s life celebration center . Went in to share my situation and concerns. They immediately expressed their condolences and sympathy. My concern, became their concern! As they listened attentively to my needs . I was overtaking by the warmth and compassion that the staff members at Baucom’s life celebration center provided . Not to mention the professionalism, and respect that each member gave . They immediately, went to work on all the proper steps and format for a US Army Veteran, and having my husband body , transported back home! I felt , as if a burden was lifted from my shoulders. I was finally able, to relax a little. Knowing that , Baucom’s life celebration center and staff were taking care of all matters for me ! One staff member even spent her off day, with me during my husband funeral services. To offer, her support and love . During my difficult time. Another staff member finished writing what I literally wanted to say to my husband, in his obituary. She filled in the blanks . It was as though, she read my mind. My mind , was still foggy from my husband’s death. All the staff members were wonderful! Everyone said, how beautiful the service was and how amazing my husband looked . I owe , it all first of all to Jesus Christ! And, to Baucom’s life celebration for an awesome job well done!!”
