I am only 3 days post op. But As far as my surgery experience, Dr. Shah did an amazing job. He also performed my previous surgery, which went just as well, and that’s the reason I chose him again. However, I do feel the communication from his team was lacking significantly, from after my consultation, to scheduling surgery, and throughout the lead up. I often called multiple times without a response and sent texts that went unanswered, which was frustrating and made me question moving forward with the procedure. At that point, I had already paid more than half of the surgery fees. I also reached out with questions on a medication after surgery that did not receive any response. When I arrived for surgery, the team was very kind, and Dr. Shah himself was excellent as always. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Shah for his surgical skills and results. I do think, however, that his office team could greatly improve communication with patients before and after surgery.
I’m not sure that I can leave a detailed review here because of length (but there will be one on Google right after this one) but I cannot put into words how incredible my experience was with Dr Shah and his team! I’m still honestly mind blown at the amount of integrity this office holds, it’s so rare in health care these days. From my consultation to my surgery (5 days post op now), they have far beyond exceeded my expectations! Coming from someone who was botched by a prior plastic surgeon in Springfield, I can hands down say that Dr Shah is THE best and recommend daily to everyone I see! Him and his tribe treat you like family from the moment you call! I’m honestly going to be sad when my appts are over because I just love how they all make me feel every time I go! Dr. Shah and the entire staff at Shah Plastic Surgery has been nothing but incredible from the start of my journey with abdomnioplasty--something I had wanted for THIRTY YEARS! Well done everyone! I will be back for more procedures!
