“I highly recommend Dr. Sam Goodman and the upper cervical method. Having had many childhood injuries which resulted in severe back and neck pain as a teenager the upper cervical method of adjustment has been a lifesaver. I'm now 65 and due to regular visits throughout the years to this office I have lived with only a fraction of the back and neck pain that I was having as a teenager and young adult. In my late 20's I still had a lot of lower back problems and occasionally visited a chiropractor that adjusted using a full-spine approach. In about 1990 when I was 30, one morning being in terrible lower back pain I visited my full-spine chiropractor. After being adjusted I knew the full-spine chiropractor had failed to realign my neck. That afternoon I visited Dr. Curtis Horton at Family Chiropractic, Dr. Sam Goodman's predecessor. Dr. Horton checked my neck and I was indeed subluxated as I had believed. I never visited a full-spine chiropractor again after that day. Upper cervical adjustments have always diminished my lower pain pain within a couple days after a neck adjustment. I can't say enough about how much upper cervical has been a blessing to my life. I have been a patient since 1974 and have recommended Family Chiropractic to hundreds of my friends and acquaintances throughout the years.“

“I started taking my now 6 wk old to Thrive when he was 3 weeks old. He is a completely new baby - I had an emergency c-section and the nurses told me I have a “very fussy baby but he’ll grow out of it”. I could tell my poor guy was so tense and uncomfortable, he hated laying flat, wouldn’t turn his head without turning his entire body, was colicky in the evenings and struggled to latch/stay latched. He also struggled to be soothed if he wasn’t either on the breast or have a paci in his mouth - after going for one week we saw major progress but after two weeks the progress is insane! My baby is so happy and content! he can lay in a bassinet by himself without a swaddle and look around while turning his head side to side, his latch is 100 times better for him & less painful for me, his wake windows are longer during the day and he is happier during those wake windows, sleep windows are longer at night and he is overall so much less tense! My mom instincts were screaming at me that my baby was in pain and after going to thrive and seeing the progress, I can attest he feels so much better! Now to mention - everyone who works there is SO sweet & kind, it’s a safe space for children of all ages with toys and other play equipment to entertain siblings, they have a welcoming nursing/changing room that I use every time I go and they have different payment options for you to choose from to make things easier! I cannot recommend them enough!“
