“While I love the vibe and aesthetic of Vibe KC, the real reason I come here is for Renee. Renee is an absolute professional when it comes to cutting hair. I moved to the KC Metro two and a half years ago and immediately started my search for a new hairstylist. I was in the process of growing out my highlights and was looking for someone who could help me get my hair as healthy as possible and cut my hair in a way that enhanced its natural texture. Specifically, my goal was to be able to leave the house without feeling like I had to blow dry, flat iron or curl my hair. I hit the jackpot when I found Renee. I have a LOT of fine, dark blonde hair and every haircut I ever got before Renee left me disappointed and turned me into an insane control freak when it came to my hair. Renee solved every single one of my problems. She very clearly knows what she’s doing and takes her time to ensure that every haircut she gives is perfect. I rarely style my hair nowadays because my hair looks SO good in its natural form. It’s gotten to the point where I arrive at the salon, sit in the chair and tell Renee to do whatever she thinks is best. Another thing I love about Renee is knowing that when I ask her for product recommendations, she will only recommend the best of the best and will typically suggest several options at different price points depending on what I’m willing to spend. My hair was just past my shoulders when I started having Renee cut it and now, two and a half years later, it’s down to my lower back. I’m in awe of her talent and will NEVER got to another hairstylist. My teenage daughter has the exact same hair as me and Renee gives her the absolute best hair cuts. She’s incredible in every way. I should also add that she’s hilarious, a pleasure to converse with and someone that I have grown to consider a friend.“

“My wife "LOVES" this place! Everyone is very friendly and professional, and always puts the customer "FIRST"! What I noticed firsthand was their efficiency. They finished her hair pretty quick, saying that she's been there so many times, they know exactly what to do style wise with her hair. My wife is 71 years old, but when she comes out, she looks 25!? exaggerated a little bit, but she looks amazing! She gets her hair braided, and man can they braid!!! Give them a try, they don't just braid, they do all kind of styles!“

She was awesome to work with even when I threw a curveball at her and asked her to come back after my ceremony and chop all of my hair off and restyle it for me to surprise my groom.
