“I've been with Ashley ( owner) on and off since I moved here 8 years ago. It started with keratin treatments, I already had a colorist when I found her for keratin. I recently lost my colorist and have been going to Ashley for my highlights ( summer) lowlights ( winter). She has converted this space in so a relaxing, chic, clean salon. There are multiple hairstylists here and a massage therapist. She hosts little parties for Botox, grand openings, Chiefs events etc. she is the stylist for the Chiefs cheerleader and the Hunt family. She definitely knows what she is doing. She makes you feel comfortable and is competent in what she does. She also sources new products that are better for the hair, skin, environment etc.You get what you pay for here, this is not a 30 dollar cut or highlight. When you want your hair done right, go here!“

“I have been going to Emily for over a decade and she is exceptional at highlighting my dark, thick, somewhat unruly hair. When I first came to her, I had tried many “high-end” salons all over the city and ended up with fried, straw-like hair that I never thought would grow beyond my shoulders. I was also spending so much time and money on extensions and products to achieve a long-haired look. But since Emily started coloring my hair, it grows inches between visits and is long and healthy. The blonde color and highlight placement looks natural and professional and I get compliments from strangers all the time. She is also very careful when cutting length as to not go too short and really listens to what you say and doesn’t go overboard. In the 40+ appointments I’ve had over the years, she has never once been late, canceled or had an off day. Also, the new salon space is modern and beautiful and I feel so happy and comfortable there. I hope Emily never retires because I plan to keep coming to her as long as she will have me!“

“Every time I go to this place I end up with a different stylist, simply because I'm the type who only needs a salon cut (trimming split ends kind of deal) a few times a year. But here's the thing, no matter who I'm placed with, they are all SO friendly and very meticulous with my requests for what I want my layers/bangs to look like. Yesterday I got Allie and oh man, what a sweetheart!! Bright colors and positive attitudes made the gray rainy Thursday into a pleasant reason to leave my house.
