“Growing up with Twin Dragons Taekwondo has been better for me than anything else Ive been involved in. I started when I was five, and I am currently 17. I am going to test for my 3rd Degree black belt this Summer and there’s no doubt that I haven’t earned it. I am a two time national medalist and have been competing and earning trophies and gold medals since I was a white belt. I’ve competed in over 150 tournaments throughout my martial arts career, competed in state tournaments, always medaling. I made lifelong friends here that I still keep in contact with to this day, they are the most honest, genuine, family-like friends I’ve ever met. Im a 90 pound female and I genuinely feel I can handle myself better than any average person, I often spar/defend against males who outweigh me by 50-80 pounds and handle myself just fine.“

After stepping into the world of Kenpo however I quickly discovered that in a real attack I was not likely to be wearing boxing gloves. I’ve never looked back and returned to kick boxing ever since. I’m a Kenpo student for life under the amazing instruction of Grand Master Bill Boyd.“
