Growing up with Twin Dragons Taekwondo has been better for me than anything else Ive been involved in. I started when I was five, and I am currently 17. I am going to test for my 3rd Degree black belt this Summer and there’s no doubt that I haven’t earned it. I am a two time national medalist and have been competing and earning trophies and gold medals since I was a white belt. I’ve competed in over 150 tournaments throughout my martial arts career, competed in state tournaments, always medaling. I’ve been training here since I was 4 years old. I’m a couple months from 18 now and I have never felt more at home than I do here. I’ve grown up alongside some of the best people I’ve ever met and they have pushed me to reach heights I’ve never imagined. In 2017 I had the honor of competing at nationals and placing 4th as well as starting a weight loss journey where I lost over 80 lbs with the assistance of twin dragons. Twin Dragons Taekwondo is awesome! I started training here when I was 9 years old, I am currently 21. When I was 14 I went to my very first national tournament with twin dragons. I got gold in both forms and sparing. The very next year I went to nationals again and got 2nd place in sparring. I had so much fun and made so many friends.
