I was paying out of pocket for Spira Care for the last year because the care I had was so good. I finally switched to my work insurance and I'm sad to have to leave. If I ever have the option to switch back, I absolutely will. I will say that this kind of care is meant for folks who need preventative health insurance - if you have a condition that lands you in the hospital often, this may not be for you. However, it was perfect for my needs. I'd had intense fatigue for a while and rather than blowing me off, the folks at Spira Care in the Crossroads tested me for everything they could. For the first time in my life, I have a Health Care provider system that I am completely satisfied with. My company switched to BCBS last July and I enrolled in the very economical Spira Care plan - meaning that my options for Health Care would be limited to any of about 6 locations in the city. I was a bit sceptical but liked the price and the ability to immediately being able to change my Dr. and not having a wait. Living about half way between their Liberty and Crossroads location, I chose this one as my primary since I like having great coffee or lunch options in the vicinity pre or post visit! Amber Vining is the best, she listened to all my concerns. I went to another clinic near by and they told me I was fine. She is actually testing me for a few things. I have already recommended her to my coworkers and family
