“I was needing palliative care for my grandfather that lived with me. From the first phone call setting up the initial appointment to the very last nursing visit, EVERY SINGLE PERSON we came in contact with was incredible! The people who answered the phones 24/7 were always so polite and genuinely caring. Every nurse we had was so patient and thorough with their care for him and for us as a family. The aids were so helpful and again cared about our needs as caretakers just as much as his as the patient. The Dr we were assigned answered nurses requests immediately and never once did we have to wait more than 30 minutes for meds or orders to be approved or changed. I was comfortable doing the medicine administration but each time they came, they made sure we had enough of everything we needed to get us through the next 24 hours. They answered all our questions and reassured us every step of the way. No one ever rushed us. The social worker and Chaplin came and were both very friendly and helpful. Our process ended up being a much shorter timeline than we anticipated originally, as he was transferred from palliative to hospice within a month of signing up with them, and at very short notice, but they were there every step of the way. The nurse that actually came and pronounced his death had seen him once before on Saturday night. She mentioned as we were talking that she only works Saturday nights. She told me (on Tuesday morning when he passed) that she had volunteered to work that overnight shift Monday night because she had kept up with his progress notes and knew we were within the 12 hour period of his passing and she wanted to be the one that was there for us since she had cared for him once before. I cannot say enough great things about this company and the caring people! They granted his final wish of being able to pass at home with dignity, comfort and respect. And as his caregiver and granddaughter I couldn’t ask for anything more than that! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!“
