I was needing palliative care for my grandfather that lived with me. From the first phone call setting up the initial appointment to the very last nursing visit, EVERY SINGLE PERSON we came in contact with was incredible! The people who answered the phones 24/7 were always so polite and genuinely caring. Every nurse we had was so patient and thorough with their care for him and for us as a family. The aids were so helpful and again cared about our needs as caretakers just as much as his as the patient. My Mother was taken care of in 2005. She was in a Care Center and was taken care of very well. I appreciated the nurses and the Chaplin visiting and making sure that she was taken care of. In fact when my Mom decided she wanted to die, the team from Crossroads took better care of her than the staff at the care center. I recommend them .
Crossroads Hospice cared for my Mother in her final weeks. Initially in her home; they quickly realized and convinced her- as we’d previously tried to do, that she was not able to be home without round the clock care and had her moved to a Respite Facility in the interim, before being moved permanently. Every nurse we encountered, each Social worker, each CNA was kind, gentle, compassionate, patient, supportive, knowledgeable- they even allowed and contributed to my family’s sense of humor along the way- which we loved and needed!
