I chose Ridgeview labor and delivery for the birth of my 3rd child. It was not as good of an experience as it was when I gave birth to my 2nd pre-covid. My stay was well after the pandemic had ended though.Here's why: the nursery is closed, there is much more hustle and bustle in your room after delivery because the bath and hearing test is completed in your room instead of outside of it. I was not prepared to become the assistant during the screening, which took a little over an hour of me standing to hold a nuk in my baby's mouth to make sure she didn't move at all for the testing. Had my daughter at the Ridgeview Waconia hospital. All the doctors and staff where amazing and super supportive. The birthing center is hands down the best I've ever seen. It's super clean and quite private area. Definitely recommend to any expecting mother.
