“It has been four months since our baby was born, and I still feel deeply grateful for the entire team at Western OBGYN and Ridgeview Medical Center – Birthing Center.

From the very beginning, everyone we interacted with was professional, calm, and incredibly supportive. As first-time parents, having a team that made us feel informed, cared for, and genuinely understood made a huge difference.

Our primary physician, Kim A. Maletta Shibley, MD, was consistently professional and gave us thoughtful, clear guidance throughout the process. We also want to sincerely thank Louise Ou-Yang, MD, who always checked in with kindness and made us feel truly cared for.

The delivery itself did not go as smoothly as we had hoped, but we are especially grateful for Rebecca Baudoin, MD, whose accurate judgment and surgical care were essential. We also want to recognize the entire nursing team, who worked with incredible focus, compassion, and teamwork during such an intense moment.

Watching how well the doctors and nurses supported each other, while still showing empathy and care for us as patients, was honestly moving. That kind of teamwork is not easy, especially in a setting where every decision matters.

In the end, our baby was born healthy and safe, and today our family is doing wonderfully. Seeing our little one grow has been the greatest joy.
