When she washed my hair she also massaged the shampoo and conditioner into my hair, which almost put me to sleep it was so nice. Not only was the haircut excellent, but Abby was so lovely and enjoyable to spend time with and she took the time to explain the products she was using and give me hair tips that I have never heard elsewhere, even going so far as to explain the structure of my thin hair and why it reacts differently than thicker hair might. The decor was also very aesthetic and made the experience even better. I was beyond satisfied and impressed. I would absolutely recommend Loft and Abby specifically.“

“I wasn’t aware there was a barbershop in the back of this salon. I went to Robert and was greeted with a handshake and a smile. I was very comfortable through the whole process, and he was also very personable, making conversation through my whole cut. His station was extremely organized compared to ones Im used to seeing, which gave it a very professional atmosphere. I left the barbershop with one of the crispiest and precise haircuts I’ve ever gotten, and was greeted at home by my fiancé with heart eyes all from the cut and the shave/ lining. His attention to detail was immaculate, especially with how I like my mustache shaped and trimmed. I’m very picky/particular about how I like my haircut, so I don’t switch up barbers once I’ve found one that knows what he’s doing. Since my last barber moved it’s been a mission to find a new consistent one, I’ve even gone to a couple in the twin cities, but I finally found one, and close to home. “Allow me to begin with my first-ever salon experience at Mantra. I had never cut my hair before, so I was prepared for anything. After being a couple of hours into the process, I discovered that Monica was the owner of the salon. She had recently caught up on her workload and decided to take on a few, or maybe just one, new client - that happened to be me!The process ended up taking much longer than I initially expected, around 6 hours, but I later learned that this was quite normal after some quick Google research on hair transformations. Monica patiently answered all my questions about the colors I wanted and even discussed the option of using a hair diffuser.Monica's interactions with her staff were truly remarkable. Every time a customer entered the salon, they were warmly greeted, and I was constantly checked on to ensure I had everything I needed. Brandon, one of the staff members, even took the time to explain some nail-related matters to me.As I left the salon, my fiancé jokingly asked if I was going through a midlife crisis, likely due to the significant change in my appearance. My hair didn't turn out as expected, and I was at a loss on how to proceed. I reached out on Facebook, and I received an immediate response from Monica. She suggested I come in to discuss my concerns.A bit embarrassed, I visited the next day to explain that the experience had been a bit overwhelming for me. To my surprise, Monica not only talked to me about her work as a hair stylist but also about her involvement in the community and St. Cloud city commerce. She is passionate about making downtown St. Cloud a safer and more family-friendly place to visit. How can you not fall in love with that! It takes a village people and I just met one of the leaders!Her intelligence and dedication are evident in her interactions with her staff, and it's clear that she's a valued member of the community.During my visit, I even had the chance to meet the director of the Chamber of Commerce, who spoke highly of Monica's contributions. However, my only complaint is that Monica refused to reimburse the cost of changing my hair color to its current state, which I've grown to absolutely love. It's truly made a difference in how I feel.“
