They also did some fancy trimming of our shrubs and they look awesome. Then came the major clean up of our Red Oaks that have never been professionally trimmed and they did an amazing job!!!! “We had a large, 2-tier boulder wall installed in our backyard by Hartman Companies and they did a fantastic job. Each tier was over 75 feet long and 3-4 feet high, so it was an intensive installation that involved a lot of earth moving and careful construction.Seth from Hartman was amazing. A thorough walk-through of the job, honest and straight-forward recommendations, reasonable pricing, fast communication - he really ticked every box we could have hoped for. The crews worked fast and were courteous of neighbors and the rest of our yard, they cleaned up very well at the end and the finishing work was great. Lots of attention to little details, which helped to really put that added polish. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartman for big landscaping projects again. They did a spectacular job!At the end of the job, there was a very minor section of landscaping that was missed by the first crew - I mentioned to Seth that it wasn't a big deal and I could take care of it myself. Seth refused to let me lift a finger, and brought in someone to tackle it the next day. That's the kind of thing that is extremely appreciated and speaks to how customer-focused Hartman is.“

“Vince the owner of tall timber came over to my house the first time and I was showing him around and asking questions. He was very informative and professional. He was also down to earth. Gave me a quote I thought was fair. Got the work done right away for me as I had a get together coming up. Looks great. Cleared out all the undergrowth, dead limbs, 4 giant trees that were dying. He went above and beyond. Also brush mowed my pasture. Would definitely hire him again. Also got to meet his beautiful wife and baby boy. Amazing people.“

“John, Jared, and Joe are an incredible team and completed the near impossible task of removing prior shoreline steel seawall and replacing it with a wood retaining wall combined with rock riprap. They did all their work in the middle of winter and obtained the required permit from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The permit required a variance from the like-kind replacement rule and took about 9 months, 2 consulting engineers, and lots of sketches and drawings. They couldn't have obtained the permit unless the MCWD trusted them to play by the rules and do it right. The combined retaining wall and riprap was about 130 ft of shoreline. My family and I will be eternally greatfull to them!Services: Grass seeding“
