“John, Jared, and Joe are an incredible team and completed the near impossible task of removing prior shoreline steel seawall and replacing it with a wood retaining wall combined with rock riprap. They did all their work in the middle of winter and obtained the required permit from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The permit required a variance from the like-kind replacement rule and took about 9 months, 2 consulting engineers, and lots of sketches and drawings. They couldn't have obtained the permit unless the MCWD trusted them to play by the rules and do it right. The combined retaining wall and riprap was about 130 ft of shoreline. My family and I will be eternally greatfull to them!Services: Grass seeding“

“I’ve had Trio do two different landscaping projects for me and they have both turned out well. The staff worked with me to come up with a design that would work and then did the work without issue.

The first project was rocks and plants around the garage and house in order to make it look nicer and drain much better. The second project was replacing cement with paver stones for the walk leading to my garage. The paver stones have worked out exceptionally well and a number of the neighbors have commented on how nice they look. They are much easier to clear of snow than the cement was.

“Brett and his Lan-De-Con team did an incredible job on our hardscape patio design and install this fall. Brett has a real artistic approach about him that we appreciated in the creative design that he came up with. He asked us a good deal of questions about what we wanted, then he took our requests and custom built a patio underneath our deck and porch for a hot tub, outdoor living space and natural gas fireplace.

His team was very pleasant to work with, completed the project well ahead of their listed timeframe and came in at budget. Their price point seemed very competitive with the other bids we received, and Brett let us visit the landscape supply company to pick out our own stone, fireplace surround and trim.

“Magnolia completed an amazing backyard transformation for us! Our yard is pretty sloped and was terribly overgrown with buckthorn before. Magnolia graded the yard, added boulder outcropping walls to create flat usable grassy areas, and installed granite steps to connect the various levels. Their team also installed bluestone patios. They also refreshed our existing garden beds in the front and side yard that were overgrown with weeds and did some plantings for us. The end result is absolutely stunning. We are so pleased with how it turned out and it's exactly what I had hoped for. Magnolia does a fantastic job of creating refined yet natural outdoor spaces.
