specialties: perms, straight perms, curly hair, coloring, kids' hair by appointment only accepts credit cards street parking bike parking hello! i'm laura slaird, owner of spring salon. i graduated from aveda institute in 2005 and started my career at kent here for hair in the linden hills area of minneapolis. i grew up and am currently living in the armatage neighborhood of southwest minneapolis. i wanted to open a salon in the area and when the right opportunity presented itself i decided to make the move! i then renovated a salon previously called hidden shears. i opened spring salon in august 2011. i am happy to be operating a small salon and offering services in my favorite neighborhood! when you're out and about stop in at spring and say hello!

I have been coming here for close to three years. Laura does a great job coloring and cutting my curly hair. She is detailed, attentive, experienced in styling, and very pleasant to talk to.I highly recommend her services.Services: Haircut

Laura, again… was amazing! She strives for the best customer service… I have personally ever seen in a salon, but her talent is what I crave and continue to follow. She is so talented. She is observant and thoughtful in both cuts and color. She is communicative, attentive and truly observant to my wants/needs! Again, I cannot recommend enough! Last post, as I don’t want Laura to blow up so much that I cannot get an appointment… went in today… during a blizzard! And was met by her lovely, smiling face! I had my first consultation and appointment with Laura on Saturday for both a full highlight and cut… and I will just say, it was a brilliant experience! Laura was very communicative, honest and truly has a gift for creating the best style/ color for her clients. I am beyond pleased with her work, ethos and the attention she gave to me. I can not recommend her enough!
