Today I dropped off two wool coats, one rather valuable due to its age and rarity, but more importantly, it’s sentimental value. It was covered in my American Bulldog’s fur, who I lost to bone cancer less than a year ago. The woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and empathetic to my circumstances and took several minutes to just talk with me about him and then shared her story about her own dog’s passing not long ago. The connection to our humanity, and genuine rapport with one’s clientele is a key factor in my decisions about where I spend my money. Many thanks for a job well done and an experience that I will share with my friends and family.“

“I’ve been here a couple times—once for a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed, and most recently for a custom job of turning a dress into a skirt.
The bridesmaid dress was done on time, exactly as expected, and reasonably priced.
The skirt…… oh. my. goodness. My tailor, Phuong, has superpowers. I came in 5 minutes before closing on a Saturday with a custom rush job to be done by the following Wednesday (with them closed on Sunday), and it was done less than 48 hours later! She went above and beyond to make it even more perfect than I could’ve possibly imagined. I was quoted $100 upfront for the job, which I initially thought was pretty steep but agreed anyway (since I was desperate for the rush), but after the project being completed so fast and SO WELL DONE, this price was definitely fair. I’m truly blown away at how amazing the skirt turned out. Thank you Phuong!!!!

Stan went above and beyond and had the dress ready for me the very same day I dropped it off! Even though I mentioned I only needed it to be hemmed, he took the time to ensure the rest of the dress fit correctly and didn't require other alterations. “Machines that take both quarters and electronic forms of payment. Dryers are $1.50 which is amazing compared to other places. Sizes of machines are good. Staff always available and nice. Machines are often broken.“
