“Jake B. and the team at Kuhl's Contracting did great work on our roof. We had a specific area of concern that was having ice dam issues in the winter. Just prior to assessing the area, we were then hit was a major hail event. Kuhl's helped me assess whether a homeowners claim was warranted, and then helped me navigate the insurance and roof replacement process with special added waterproofing in the original area of concern. Jake provided great input on the roofing material selection process. The work was done quickly and professionally, and the team also took great care to minimize damage to our landscaping/garden. I've had many neighbors and contractors compliment the work that Kuhl's did.”

“I had a very good experience with Coty Construction. They replaced my roof after hail damage. The entire process run smoothly from beginning to end. They talked directly with my insurance company and secured proper coverage for the repair. Nick was very kind and patient, and didn’t hesitate to explain all the options I had for types of roofs, skylights, and other small things of the process. Their timing was good as well. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and would hire the services again without a doubt.”

“People don't take enough time to leave good reviews so let me do my best to share my experience! Brandon and his crew were polite, easy to work with and did exactly what they said they were going to do for the safety of our home. The house had a radon level average of 7 when we bought it and the seller was not cooperative so I reached out to 3 radon mitigation services to get bids. 86 the Radon uses online information (Google Earth and real estate information) along with the answers you provide on a detailed webform to provide a bid - saving money in the end by eliminating multiple in-person trips for estimates, etc. It turns out they found the same information as the other two did by coming out to our house yet 86 The Radon came in $350 less due to virtual estimating and they performed the exact same work - in 3 hours onsite and one trip back to get the test equipment post-test. The system is the same, the time involved was less for me and I didn't have to take off work to meet someone for an estimate. We had an external system ran due to our structure and it's fine! It blends in with the other utilities and we opted to paint the pvc ourselves to match our siding. EZ! Our test results make me the happiest - down to BELOW 2!! I feel secure and our kids can play anywhere in the house w/out my concern, even in the basement TV room! I highly recommend Brandon and team and hope that you have the same experience! “Kuhl Design + Build renovated the one-and-only bathroom in our 1925 Tudor. From the project’s beginning to end, our experience with the team was entirely positive. We appreciated their transparency and clear communication regarding the costs and the timeline. Our designer, Shauna, cleverly made the best use of a small space, in addition to selecting beautiful and function materials. And our lead carpenter, Beau, expertly brought the design to life. Weekly check-ins during construction helped us follow the progress and avoid surprises. The finished bathroom is better than I dreamed it would ever be. Thank you, Kuhl! Five stars!!! “Update: Frana Companies has made a good faith effort to help me resolve a situation that resulted from a belligerent and violent sub contractor working in the vicinity of their job site. I deeply appreciate their help in making Minneapolis a safer place for everyone. I was attacked this morning by this worker at the 708 S 3rd St build site. His parked car was blocking the bike lane and when pointed that out he kicked me and then tried to intimidate me into leaving. He refused to identify himself or name his supervisor. A female worker was with the violent man, she was trying to downplay both his violent and illegal behaviors.”
