“Amazing. My 10 year old was terrified to go to the dentist, especially getting X-rays. I’ve had a great experience as a patient of Lake Dental Care so I decided to try switching him from his pediatric dental clinic to here. The staff of Lake Dental Care understood he was anxious, but handled it expertly. They were compassionate and patient, and let me come back with him. Within minutes they recognized he has a tongue tie that the pediatric dentist never mentioned. After years of speech therapy and poor sleep addressing this could be so impactful. But, the truly amazing impact is that a kid who feared a lifetime of bad teeth because he “felt like he was going to die at the dentist” left saying his visit at Lake Dental Care was “life changing” because he’s “not afraid to go to the dentist anymore.””

“I hadn't been to the dentist in a long while and was really nervous about going. I have always had a lot of anxiety around dental visits, but my experience at Monticello Dental Center with Dr. Emily Taras completely changed that for me.
From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, but Dr. Taras truly stood out. She has an incredibly warm and wonderful bedside manner that immediately put me at ease. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answered every question patiently, and never made me feel rushed or judged. Her calming approach gently eased my anxiety throughout the entire appointment.
What I appreciated most was how informative and thorough she was. Dr. Taras took the time to educate me on all of my options, explaining everything clearly so I could understand my dental health better. She empowered me to be an active part of my own care instead of just telling me what to do, which made a huge difference.
