“This dentist office is AMAZING! My parents have brought me here my entire life and I absolutely love it. Dr. Bender is so amazing and incredible. The hygienists are so kind and gentle. My dad has been coming here for over 15 years and refuses to go anywhere else. Even after multiple moves, we still come here, even with a 45 minute drive from our house (the drive is SO WORTH IT!!) Highly recommend and would give 6 stars if I could!”

“I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Inayat Bachelani at Maple Grove Smile Dentistry. She placed my crown without explaining the procedure, and she never took a scan of my molar or asked whether I wanted the crown shaped like my original tooth. Had I known this was an option, I would have absolutely requested that my crown match my natural molar.<br>The crown was not adjusted properly, even after I repeatedly told her that my bite felt off and I was uncomfortable. Her response was that it was “a foreign material” and I just needed to get used to it. When I mentioned that my bite didn’t feel right, she said it was only because my mouth was numb.<br>After asking several times, she made a small adjustment that helped slightly. But when I requested further correction, she told me that adjusting it more could fracture the crown and might even require a root canal which made no sense, considering we were only discussing minor bite adjustments. She also did not check my bite properly; she never asked me to do side to side movement, forward movement, or a normal bite.<br>I left the appointment unsatisfied and scheduled a follow up for the next day. The following morning, I received a call from Grace at the front desk saying that Dr. Bachelani had called in sick. I explained that I needed the crown adjusted and couldn’t wait another day, so she sent me to their Champlin location.<br><br>I saw Dr. Minhu Tu at Champlin Dentistry, and the difference was immediate. She listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and fixed my bite perfectly. She checked my bite multiple times, took bite impressions on paper, made precise adjustments, and within 15 minutes I finally had a comfortable, correct bite.<br>Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Inayat Bachelani for crowns or fillings, as she demonstrated a lack of skill and proper technique. If you choose to stay within Smile Generation, go to Champlin Dentistry and see Dr. Minhu — she truly knows what she’s doing.”

“I’ve gone here majority of my life (I’m a young adult) and have had nothing but great experiences within the past 4 years. The staff are all super nice and my hygienists have been very understanding of my struggles with caring for my teeth, even giving me tips on keeping up with dental hygiene specific to my fatigue, pain and motivation issues. They’re also very transparent about costs and help navigate insurance issues automatically. They’ve been accommodative towards my movement disorder when it was its worst and allow for me to take breaks as often as I need them. Some of the staff share their own experiences struggling with dental care too which really helps you to feel less alone and supported.<br><br>I am high risk for cavities and have a lot of them due to medical conditions but have been able to prevent most from progressing with guidance and encouragement. My team is always happy to hear when I’ve been able to add more to my routine and tell me what improvements I’ve had from my changes, while still saying what could improve further if I keep adding more. I’ve only needed 2 fillings which is great since I’ve had many of my cavities for 2-3 years.<br><br>I can’t recommend this location more for people that struggle with dental hygiene because it can be hard to find places that are this compassionate oftentimes. I’m sad that I need to transfer care after moving because I’ve felt so understood and cared about here.”
