Lightning struck the electrical mast in our 100 year old house causing fire in an upstairs bedroom and the roof. The smoke and water damage covered the upstairs 3 bedrooms and 3 rooms downstairs. He repaired and reshingled the roof. The asbestos siding was abatement was performed along with the two layers of cedar siding behind the asbestos and new siding installed. The lathe and plaster and insulation on both floors had to be removed along with the knob and tube wiring that was destroyed. All new wiring, insulation, drywall and paint were required. All new wood flooring was installed in the upstairs 3 bedrooms with all wood floors upstairs and downstairs sanded and refinished. The floor joists and studs had to be upgraded to meet current building code requirements. He constructed kitchen cabinets to replicate what was there initially. Ryan dealt with the insurance company throughout (three different adjustors) through the entire construction process of 14 months (the insurance company was difficult to deal with through the first 6 months. We now have a beautiful new 100 year old house!!”
