“This dojang is like no other in the area. Grandmaster and her instruction team take students' development in all areas very seriously - academically, interpersonally, in taekwondo, and as people. It's rare to find a place that emphasizes the skills while also focusing on who the child/person is as a whole. My child has shown remarkable growth since we started coming here. The firm boundaries, quick feedback, and frequent positive reinforcement and encouragement work very well for kids of all ages - as well as adults! My child actually begs to go to taekwondo now & even prefers it to screen time (many parents will understand what a miracle that is). Highly recommend.“

“The no gi bjj program is strong with a good instructor. The school is very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place for everyone of all skill levels, but especially for newer people.“

“My son and I have been training here since spring, and we absolutely love it. Excellent instructors who foster a positive attitude, a pursuit of mastery, and a sense of responsibility to give back to the community. The discipline and sense of pride in one’s accomplishments is great for my son. Also, I’m in the best shape I’ve been in in years, which feels incredible. It’s a great program for kids and adults alike.“

“I've been going for a month just doing the fundamentals class, first time doing any kind of martial arts. In short, I love it, and I agree with others that the staff, coaches, and community are all welcoming and enthusiastic. What I really appreciate though is the structure and direction that they give to the training. They reach out repeatedly to understand and refine what your own goals are, and then they're ready to talk about how the programming can align with those goals. I think they're set up do this sort of automatically, but what has been even better is that Coach Jacob and Coach Kris have been super approachable in talking in more detail (one-on-one) about the programming to answer questions like "what should I be comfortable with after two months?", or "if I'm coming in consistently twice a week for a year, how might my training advance?" They're definitely teachers, not just coaches. This kind of conversation has been really helpful in figuring out how to integrate BJJ into my daily life and what my expectations should be. And it beats the heck out of googling these same questions.“

“Excellent equipment in a wide open space with garage doors for exceptional ventilation, and even more important, Kip - the award winning trainer who leads, guides and encourages with skill, extremely detailed knowledge and years of experience. Truly an amazing place!“

“Our six year old daughter has been taking lessons here for about 6 months and it has been amazing both in terms of physical activity and discipline/self-confidence. The classes really are tailored for kids (it's not just watered-down adult karate). We recently had her birthday party at the dojo and it was fantastic! Master P and Ms. Megan went way over and beyond our expectations - every kid even got to break their own board!! I can not recommend them enough.“
