Veterinarians near Windsor

“I have owned multiple animals, (large and small) for 50 years and have lived throughout the US. As a result, I have worked with many veterinarians (45? 50? No idea.) Dr. Cripps is one of the top three. He is a GREAT diagnostician and relies on his experience before he recommends expensive tests. (In my opinion, younger vets especially go immediately to them.) He has proven to be better at diagnoses than many vets at MSU, a fine teaching school.

He is kind and.patient with all of my creatures and respects me as a client. He also has a fine sense of humor, which must be crucial when dealing with many pet owners. (Pets, not so much. ;-))

His office staff is small, but I have found both Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Sarah to be efficient, capable and pleasant. They're good at returning calls if you leave a message. You have to wait in your car before you're admitted, but Dr. Cripps is unfailingly punctual if you are. All three of them work effectively with Chewy and other online businesses for animals.

I've worked with 10 other veterinarians in the Lansing area, including emergency clinics and MSU, during the 30 years I've lived here. I have no problem changing vets if I'm dissatisfied with their abilities.

One has retired, but otherwise I have never had one as good and certainly none better. I am hoping Dr. Cripps works until he's at least 150 years old so I never have to find another.“

“I've taken my cat sassy and my dog stinker and my cat Ginger to Lincoln Park vet and they are extremely professional, knowledgeable and super friendly and they take great care of my Fur babies.Dr Kelly is awesome and so sweet to my babies and me.I feel great about going there.I just wish that the rates were much cheaper.They're so expensive but everywhere is.“

“My dog has been seeing Dr. Carter for a couple years and we absolutely love her and the whole office! She and her vet tech are so sweet and patient with my nervous dog and have never once made us feel bad for sometimes struggling with vet visits. They’re great about returning calls for questions and work really hard to squeeze you in if you have a problem. My dog is slowly improving with his visits and the staff here make them as quick and easy as possible!“

“Love, love, love this place! The veterinarians are very caring towards my pets. Especially with my dog that has cancer. I regret that I did not find this place sooner. I had to go through a couple places that felt like a money grab. This place is not like that. They are honest, and affordable. I would 100% recommend this place!“

“Above and beyond! If they treat their patients half as good as a stranger with a found cat than you are in great hands. We found ourselves in quite the predicament with a random cat, who wandered into our home, obviously missing her family. We called local veterinarian offices that happen to be closed on Wednesdays and then animal control in Hazel Park was unavailable. This office stepped up to the plate and helped me get this kitty scanned for a microchip! They even got me a cardboard carrier, so she just wasn’t a free range kitty in my car. Luckily, this beautiful cat was micro chipped and because of the effort this veterinarian team put in, we were able to reunite this cat with her mother. Thank you again for helping this awesome cat get home!!!“

“Dr. Tekavic is the best Vet for my 2 year old cockapoo. He keeps it simple and to the point. He always encouraged lots of exercise, home care and lastly medications only when required.“

“Our experience with healing care was fantastic. All of the staff was super friendly and caring towards my pets. I love that they refer to all of the pets as "babies" and not just the cat or the dog. After my cat got neutered, I got a call the next day asking how he was doing. I may switch all of my animals to this vet for future care.“

“I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a few years now and have never noticed this establishment. However, recently, my cat got stuck in the tree for 7 days and I was desperate to get him checked out. I arrived and was seen relatively quickly. Aside from some unnecessary charges (treatment for cat leukemia) everything suggested to me was all to help my cat be their most healthy self. Would take my cat back to them in the future.“

“I was recently given the name of this clinic because of Dr. Jim and the wonderful care he provides.
So I began by reading reviews.
The many 5 star reviews are encouraging.
But the many one star reviews from long time patients (10 years or more) who have been turned away because of a 1 year rule is heart breaking.
I am concerned that no response has been offered regarding this issue.
Dr. Jim are you aware of how many patients have been turned away?
Dr. Jim is your staff as rude and inconsiderate to these costomers as the reviews indicate?

He was tryna be a biter, luckily they did extremely with all his attitude and gave him the care he needed. Kinda pricey from the last vet he went to but it beat the 30 min drive to Ann Arbor.“
