“4 of my pets have been here over the years. Most recently my dog had an ear hematoma. Her regular vet would not see her in a timely manner so I decided to come here. They fixed her up and had us on our way in a few hours. Pretty expensive though.“

“Dr Syde , is always about your pet, not how much $$$ to make off your pets illness, my dog sprained his leg.. I knew this vet visit will include office visit, X-ray, meds etc.... Dr Syde , felt his leg and and because of his experience and wisdom he knew there was no X-ray needed, rest and a couple of pills for relaxation… any other vet looking to make a buck would do an X-ray just because.. in two days my dog was back to running and and happy … you might have to wait a bit in the waiting room .. but it’s because he gives his full attention to every pet that comes in. It’s worth it !“

“Above and beyond! If they treat their patients half as good as a stranger with a found cat than you are in great hands. We found ourselves in quite the predicament with a random cat, who wandered into our home, obviously missing her family. We called local veterinarian offices that happen to be closed on Wednesdays and then animal control in Hazel Park was unavailable. This office stepped up to the plate and helped me get this kitty scanned for a microchip! They even got me a cardboard carrier, so she just wasn’t a free range kitty in my car. Luckily, this beautiful cat was micro chipped and because of the effort this veterinarian team put in, we were able to reunite this cat with her mother. Thank you again for helping this awesome cat get home!!!“

“Our dog is a rescue who had an unfavorable experience at the vet when we adopted him, so the past four years have been nothing short of a nightmare when it comes to wellness and vet visits. We called Dr. Smirnes at Woodward Vet Home Care and she was able to get us in the same week we called. She came to our home around 8:00 p.m., at a time that was extremely convenient for our family. Dr. Smirnes and her assistant were kind and patient with our dog and let him come to them when he was ready. He fell in love with them right away and his shots were administered easily and without the added stress he / we normally have when we make visits to the vet. She also gave us some great recommendations for groups that can help us as pet owners manage his anxiety and stress. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Smirnes. Not only is she patient and caring, but she is extremely knowledgeable. We are so happy to have found this practice...OUR PUP IS TOO!“

“My last vet sold his business. I had been going there for years. My dog Bella pooped a puddle of blood, I called to see if I could bring Bella in right away and was told I had to schedule an appt. The recommendation was to take her to an emergency hospital.I called Dr. Schwartz's office. He was able to see her that day.I was grateful that Dr. Schwartz was able to diagnose and give Bella medicine that afternoon. Since that day, Dr. Schwartz has become Bella and Jay's Veternarian.
