About two months ago, I posted glowing reviews of Premier Roofing because that was honestly my experience at the time. I think it’s only fair to share my complete experience.

My project started very well. Erik was knowledgeable, professional, and responsive throughout the sales process. He answered my questions and gave me confidence that any issues would be addressed.

Unfortunately, after installation several problems developed. The flat roof around my screen door was installed in a way that prevented the door from opening properly, and an initial repair created a gap that allowed rain and bugs inside. Roofing membrane also remained exposed, permanently damaging my family’s nearly 70-year-old American flag. Despite being told the property had been magnetically swept, my gardener later filled a bucket with roofing nails and debris left in my landscaping. Most frustrating of all was the lack of communication as these issues remained unresolved.

UPDATE: Once owner Keith Powers became personally involved, everything changed. He personally inspected the project, sent his A-Team to correct the problems, and made sure the doorway was rebuilt properly, sealed correctly, and even returned to adjust the screen door until it fit perfectly. He also came up with a thoughtful solution for my damaged family flag by installing a flagpole and presenting me with a beautiful new American flag, preventing future damage from the roofing membrane.

No construction project is pretty close to perfect. What matters is how a company responds when problems arise. While I wish the issues had been handled better originally, Keith Powers ultimately stood behind his work, corrected every concern at no additional cost, and earned back my confidence. That’s why I’m revising my review.“

“Amadio and his team are amazing!!! Started off the project messaging him from Angie’s list. He called back immediately and was over to see the job scope that same day! He worked so well with me after he quoted and the job completely changed because of city requirements for my specific job. He and his team were extremely knowledgeable and offered great ideas and executed them! Unfortunately for us he was fixing a previous contractor’s poor job on the patio. He understood how much we paid and tried hard not to make us pay for anything we didn’t need but still fixed it and made it right!! Prep work was impressive and they even came back and put down grass seed, soil and hay on worked over areas! “Several rows of vinyl siding blew off the second story of my home during high winds on MLK day leaving the tyvek exposed. Todd was able to temporarily reattach the siding and shoveled the heavy snow from the 2nd floor roof over my family room. He will return in the Spring to add flashing, caulk and permanently reattach the siding. Very professional, dependable, pleasant and fairly priced. I highly recommend him.“

My experience with Next Exteriors by Premier Builder to replace my roof was amazingly organized, efficient, friendly and accommodating, and fairly priced. Beginning to end it was a smooth and positive experience. Paul was quick to come out for an estimate, Pam was quick to answer all of my questions and concerns, Tom was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process and was great at making sure I understood and was happy. My roof has a lot of difficult peaks and angles and the guys worked so hard all day. I can’t say enough great things about Paul and this company.
