“Great experience, I requested and I person quote, the tech came out and did a detailed inspection of the install location and even got on the roof and inspected the chimney to give me the most accurate quote possible. The install team was quick and efficient. Brianna answered the phone and was super awesome. I had a small problem with the county inspector and Brianna took ownership of it and somehow got the county to come out same day and do my inspection which helped me out. She followed up twice to make sure it was comple and I was happy. It's not often you have an employee that takes ownership and follows thru like that. “Old folks who lived rural without air conditioning for over 36 years in this home, finally decided to try to find comfort after the hot, humid, wet Michigan summer of 2024. Two generations of our family have always relied on Bartholomew for heat/water issues. By summer of 2025, we went ahead and finalized the estimates/product/cost and schedule of a large split unit installation (1,500 Sq Ft house).
This company and product (Bryant split unit) made a hot, humid miserable summer 2025 100% bearable AND enjoyable. The surprise was that our electric bill only rose about $12 a month for the electric air conditioner system that stayed at 74 degrees and 50% humidity for over 7 weeks uninterrupted. We do not have a furnace (heat with wood)- I do not have curtains to insulate even more. But this whole thing was beyond efficient. This thing even lowered the humidity and temp in the basement level!
Thanks to techs Dan and Will from Bartholomew, and Jen in the main office (she gets 7 star review). Thanks also to their partnership with Lamplighter Electric- Craig and Nathan who pulled it all together! We do not have a regret in any aspect!

“I had a boiler and water heater replacement/upgrade. I went from an 84% efficient boiler to a 95% efficient. I dont recall the water heater's efficiency. That was upgraded to an indirect water heater. Josh and Brad did a great job. The work looks great. The boiler and water heater work as to be expected. Their customer service is excellent. “Had used DeHaan previously on a different home and decided to give them a try again. I was converting from a 120 gallon electric water heater to a Navien PE-240A2 - 199,000 BTU Indoor / Outdoor Advanced High Efficiency Condensing Tankless Water Heater and control panel.

There were 3 workers who arrived exactly when they said they would be there. Were polite and listened to what I was attempting to do as far as aesthetics. They began right away. There were a few areas that I asked for them to correct as I am a stickler for detail and they did not hesitate to fix it the way I wanted it so long as it met code. Install took about 6.5-7 hours to do, but everything worked great on first run. No leaks, and adjusted control panel, tested water temp and worked great. They cleaned up everything and hauled away my old tank.

Once again, would highly recommend DeHaan and Abe. They installed this at an extremely affordable rate compared to others.
