“The entire staff at Focus Eyecare is amazing. The work that their vision therapy group does is nothing short of life changing. My daughter struggled significantly with reading and focus and was eventually diagnosed with a vision binocular disorder. She was behind almost an entire grade and hated reading even a sentence when we started with vision therapy. This was her experience, but within 4/5 months she was reading chapter books and chose to read instead of fighting to read. It took some hard work, weekly appointments plus homework, but the progress was undeniable.
I feel like she's been given the opportunity to be the best person that she can be, no longer hindered by this invisible barrier. She now tests in the 90th percentile for her age group and still loves to read. The group at Focus is so understanding of challenging behaviors and makes the sessions fun for the kids so they want to come back.
