“honestly one of the best eye appointments i’ve had. all three staff members i worked with before seeing the doctor were exceptionally nice and took the time to explain everything instead of just rushing me through. that alone set the tone.

then the doctor himself was great. he actually explained the science behind why i needed dilation, and it’s the first time in 15 years i’ve let a doctor do it. nobody had ever bothered to tell me why before, but once he walked me through it i actually wanted to do it. after that he showed me all the pictures of my eye, the different areas and what he was looking at. i loved that. if i’m gonna sit through the test i might as well see what’s going on in there.

he also helped me find a pair of contacts that actually fit my needs, and gave me a ton of info about lasik, whether i’d be a good candidate, and the reasons for and against it. didn’t feel like a sales pitch, just real info so i could make my own call.
