Restore-A-Deck LLC, established in 1989 by Richard Pauley, is a family-run business that has become a standard in the industry for customer service and quality. The company, which doubled in size for the first five years and now serves the Tri-County area with over 15 employees, specializes in deck installation and restoration. Richard and his crew recently restored a deck using Trex decking, reinforcing the supporting structures and communicating effectively with the customers about the process and reasons for the work. In a 2023 update, a customer shared that their cedar deck, which was 23 years old and at the end of its useful life, was "restored" by Restore-A-Deck. The company replaced the decking with Trex and was able to utilize the existing underlying framing. The customer was thrilled with the new glass wall that provided a beautiful view and the professional service they received. Another customer has been using Restore-A-Deck's services for years to maintain their 18-year-old deck. They expressed gratitude for the great job that Richard and his staff have done. Restore-A-Deck also offers products for deck restoration, such as a stripper, brighter, and gel additive. A customer shared their experience using these products to remove a particularly dark stain from cedar and yellow pine surfaces, including intricate railings and gables. They found the product to be the best and most reasonably priced option available and appreciated its effectiveness in returning the wood to almost natural tones.
Just had a great, in-depth phone call with Richard. He looked at my deck and was extremely honest about the things that would and would not benefit the deck. Gave a very realistic perspective and did a great job answering questions. Would recommend him and will definitely use him in the future.
It’s been two winters since Restore a Deck cleaned and stained my cedar deck, and it’s still holding up perfectly.

Always good service, we've used Restore A Deck many times over the years. Last week after they left, the Hose bib was leaking(it's more than 5o yrs.old). I called the owner who told me how to shut off the water so that I did'nt need a plumber and the next day he (the owner of the company) came out and fixed that old faucet, at NO COST, but a lot of sweat on his part, either way a dedicated man and a terrific company
