Aspirus Laurium Clinic is a place of community and healing. The staff offers a hand every time a crisis overwhelms, saving patients from physical illness and emotional trauma. The entire staff, from the help desk to the physicians, greets everyone with kindness, respect, and professionalism. They are stellar at helping patients feel relaxed, heard, and truly cared about. Doctors like Dr. Woodworth are amazing, thorough, and knowledgeable. He always takes time to answer questions and remembers patients. Dr. Woodward is a gem who is extremely thorough, educated, and resourceful. He dedicates a great deal of time to patient needs. Dr. Wegener listened attentively and proceeded with necessary treatment. Dr. Mark Brown is great as a Primary Care Provider; he explains everything in layman's terms, is patient, and listens without being judgmental. Appointments are made quickly due to urgency, and everyone is helpful and polite.
My experience with the people that staff Aspirus started 46 years ago. A former Green Beret, Paramedic with the Miami Dade fire department, commercial pilot flight instructor, seeking a place to heal...and I found it here in the Keweenaw community... the staff at our community hospital, now called Aspirus went thru many changes but was that place that I always found community. A hand offered every time a crisis overwhelmed me, they saved me whether it was physical illness, emotional trauma, a family members trauma, they were always present...I think that, for the most part says it all.. Dr Woodworth is amazing! Very thorough and very knowledgeable. He always takes his time to answer all my questions and even has questions of his own that I don’t always think of. Every time I go and that’s only Once every year or two He always remembers me!
Dr. Woodward is a gem! He is extremely thorough, educated, and resourceful. He explained more to me about an existing medical condition than my specialty doctor. He dedicates a great deal of time to you and your needs. Absolutely remarkable!!!!
