My experience with the people that staff Aspirus started 46 years ago. A former Green Beret, Paramedic with the Miami Dade fire department, commercial pilot flight instructor, seeking a place to heal...and I found it here in the Keweenaw community... the staff at our community hospital, now called Aspirus went thru many changes but was that place that I always found community. A hand offered every time a crisis overwhelmed me, they saved me whether it was physical illness, emotional trauma, a family members trauma, they were always present...I think that, for the most part says it all.. Thanks Aspirus, for helping me crowd 80 years...I could not have lived without you ?
Wonderful experience! I didn't realize this shop is by appointment only, I just saw that it said it was open and I wanted a small tattoo that I had been dying to get for about a year. I drove there, accidentally rang their doorbell (not realizing the shop was right around the corner) and stood for a little bit before I decided it must be the wrong place or whatever and started to leave. I hear the door open and a man walks out, I ask if they're open and he said no but asked what I was looking to get. Described it to him and he brought me in the shop, had me show him what I was looking for and went to go print out the stencil. 10-20 minutes later, I had my tattoo and was (and still am) extremely happy ? him and his wife were so nice and welcoming! I know it's a small tattoo but it means a lot to me and I'm so glad he tattooed me even though i didn't have an appointment. Both of them were very professional and the shop is so cool!! I can't wait to go back, with an appointment this time!
