Hiemstra Optical, Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI

Best eye exam I’ve ever had. Dr. was excellent. Staff was helpful. Highly recommend the practice, particularly for all of us patients who’ve had exams where we felt rushed and unappreciated.

The doctor here is very thorough and takes time to explain what is going on with your eyes. I highly recommend this place also because the staff do not do pressure sales. Yet the quality of the frames are really good for the price. I did compare to other glasses retailers and Hiemstra Optical has very competitive pricing and good quality choices.

I have gone to Hiemstra Optical on Gull Road for several years because they provide quality care and service in every way. If I need to choose new frames, their knowledge of what will be best for me is valuable to me. I’ve always been happy with Hiemstra!
