Dr. DeWald has been my doc for well over 30 years. Yes. THIRTY. She's absolutely wonderful and I've never considered another primary physician. She's brilliant and insightful and I've never questioned her diagnoses or treatment protocols. I'm heartbroken that she's retiring but feel that Dr. Kristi Wegener will be a great fit for my healthcare needs now. I can't say enough about the clinic staff! Remarkably personable people everywhere! From the staff at the intake desk to the lab to the nurses...we're so lucky to have you all!
Tricia Lawton (PA) is so thorough and honestly cares about the health of her patients. She will work with you to find the care you need (either from her or a referral) and is readily available for appointments. I move states every few years for my spouses’ work and Tricia is the best primary care provider I’ve ever had. I will miss having her as my provider when I move soon and hope to find another provider with half her compassion and competency in the future. I could not recommend Tricia more.
Sometimes I have to pinch myself and realize I have an excellent Healthcare Provider right here in the Copper Country, and I'm not in a large city, like Chicago.
The staff, in all disciplines I visit the Houghton Aspirus Clinic for, from Family Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology to Orthopedics are 2nd to none!
