Steve was kind, caring and did an outstanding job explaining all funeral options for us. He handled everything we needed in a thorough and professional manner and made it clear that we could contact him at any time if we had any questions. During the funeral visitation Steve checked in with us constantly to make sure everything was going OK and promptly attended to all of our needs. Steve also came to our church service the day after the funeral visitation to set up flowers, picture boards, and handled all matters with the church pastor and organist prior to and after the church service. While the Arboretum tour showcased the variety of trees, while enjoying a walk in the beautiful grounds of a park-like environment, the Historical tour explored in depth, themes of local history, architecture and notable burials. Amy, the Director of Historic Foundation, is the curator behind both tours and has done an amazing job offering these kinds of events to our communities.“

“My husband died unexpectedly February 2024, Butler funeral home was there for me in my time of need when I wasn't in my right frame of mind and didn't know what to do because I never had to bury a loved one before so I was lost and confused but they were so very understanding so loving and caring and they help me lay my husband to rest. The following year my daughter tragically passed away March 2025 and I almost lost my mind. I struggled to hold it together but they helped me get through it all they walked me through everything they were so caring they were loving and understanding and very respectful. They were always there when I felt like I wanted to fall they wouldn't let me. They help me lay two of my dear love ones to rest, my husband and then my daughter. As I still struggle to deal with the Lost of my family members they are still there reaching out to make sure that I'm okay and to see if I need anything. I've never heard of a funeral home that still stay in contact with families after they help lay their loved ones to rest. I LOVE YOU ALL @ BUTLER FUNERAL HOME!! ??“
