I've gotten two eye exams and three pairs of glasses at Rx optical. I even got a pair of vintage glasses fitted with new prescription lenses for a relatively low cost. One of the best things about them is that they accept all types of insurance, including medicaid. I was able to get a new eye exam with my updated prescription and a pair of frames with lenses through medicaid without paying a single dollar out of pocket. However, you have VERY limited choices for frames if you are only using medicaid (literally less than 10 different choices for women) and if you have a more complex prescription like myself, only bifocals are covered, not progressives. The store is clean, the machinery is clean, the doctor and staff are awesome! Went in before my exam to look at new frames and I was helped on a Friday afternoon. The ones I liked were added to my chart so when I had my exam they were able to quickly find what I had already looked at. Everyone was so helpful, kind, fun, and professional, overall I had an excellent experience!
