Our son is a bit anxious and uncoordinated but he has never had trouble with feeling self conscious or frustrated in class even if he is having trouble getting things. They use a very positive reinforcement teaching method which seems to work well in their classes.

The schedule is incredibly flexible with a take as many classes as you want policy with two classes offered per night.

“This is the place to get brilliant at the basics through hardwork and discipline. I've learned so much in a short amount of time and people go out of their way to be friendly and considerate at this gym. It can be very intimidating when you observe the higher levels because they have weapons and i'm highly preferential to not getting my butt kicked - especially with wooden sticks, sledge hammers, etc but everything i've seen so far shows that you don't reach that stage until you are fully ready to be there and Craig teaches through slow repeitition every step of the way. Leagues ahead of where I expected to be already and can see that i'll only continue to grow by being a student here. Definitely worth it - workshops too. The 5 hour ones go by quicker than you think and you learn so much about the techniques and the oddities of how your body moves overall.“
