“I don't normally spend time blogging or reviewing business's but Kathleen is worth giving a shout out. First let me say that I have been to pretty much EVERY salon in the Oakland County area in search of good eyelash extension work. I have been to Novalash, Lavish Lash, and Xtreme Lash stylists. I am now a loyal Xtreme lash client. Check each of the main websites and you'll see what I mean. But even within the Xtreme lash family, what I have found is that there is a considerable level of inconsistency in the quality of work of Xtreme lash stylists. Even with the stylists that are "advance trained" does not guarantee quality work. (and let's face it ladies, this is a luxury service that is pricey and I want the BEST work for my money). What Kathleen explained to me is that many stylists do not use the "curly extensions". I've have both the straighter lashes and curlier lashes applied and I can tell you that the straighter ones are a complete waste of money! You cannot see them when you look in mirror, but rather you can see them from a side view. (If I can't see them when I look into a mirror, I know that other people won't see them either...especially my boyfriend!..lol) I am so so happy that I have found Kathleen! Absolutely miles ahead of anyone else out there! Not only is her work WAY beyond anyone else I've been to, but she is very knowledgable about lashes in general. On the very first visit, she went through my routine and found that my particular foundation was completely incompatible with the glue. (NO ONE ever talked to me about 'specific' products, but rather just said "stay away from oils". But there is more than oils to be aware of!) So now that we have all my products compatible, I can go 3-4 weeks in between fill appointments! (I was previously doing my fill appointments every 1.5 - 2 weeks) With other stylists, they would get 'twisted and goofy' and had glue clumps or would be glued together. With Kathleen's work, not only do I not feel any glue on the lashes, but I can look into a magnified mirror and literally cannot tell that my lashes have extensions on them! They look so AMAZINGLY natural! I am thrilled to be able to literally 'wake up' first thing in the morning to beautiful eyes! (I used to be self-conscious to have my boyfriend see me without makeup, but now I'm totally comfortable!) I can't say enough about Kathleen at Fabulash! Thank you Kathleen! You really are THE BEST!!”
