4798 Wenmar Dr, Saginaw“I had the opportunity to volunteer at First State Home Health and Hospice Care and I saw firsthand how compassionate and dedicated the First State Team is. They truly go above and beyond as they prioritize the well-being and comfort of the individuals they work with. From individualized care that respects each client's needs to community events which encourage education about their services, while also promoting social connection, First State really impressed me as they consistently put in the effort to ensure everyone they interact with is treated with dignity and respect. I'm so grateful I had the chance to volunteer here, and thank you to the First State team for allowing me to be a part of the meaningful work you all do! Special thank you to Courtney who I worked with during community events, your support and guidance made my experience even more rewarding!“

2575 S McLeod Dr suite c, Saginaw“Mom had wonderful care in her last 10 months of life from the shower aids to two different nurses visiting her. Her last nurse named Rachel was phenomenal and took calls on her days off and came quickly and was very supportive when mom was near the end I would highly recommend this hospice service.“

The staff has been very quick to respond to my Dad's needs and they have been great to work with. We would recommend their services to anyone needing home care.“

6165 Bay Rd suite b, Saginaw“I worked for Compassionate Care as a LPN and also Home Health Assistant and only sought other employment as my patient became terminal. Every Home Care agency has to be licensed, and some licenses are able to serve clients in bigger compacity versus others. First and foremost is safety not only for clients but caregivers as well. If special equipment should by chance be needed in order to adequately care for a client, then family or caseworker is responsible to go through proper channels to obtain and have it available so care can be properly performed by care staff to avoid injury to anyone. I was never treated unfairly while employed there. But did observe other staff treating supervisors with disrespect. If you want resoect then you need to learn how to give it. This company gives second chances in many ways to caregivers. But when employees call off repeatedly, or become no shows on shifts, then they deserve to be terminated. The only person getting hurt by that behavior is the client. Every health care agency, nursing and rehab centers, nursing homes, home care, Assisted Living facilities are to have a "who we serve and who we do not". If the care required is outside of that, then other options must be sought by family/case worker. A client's medical condition and functional capacity is always out front before any concrete arrangements are made. Compassionate Care is a great place. Sad that a few past employees feel otherwise. Perhaps they did not leave employment on good terms.“

“Almost Heaven helped me take care of my mom, Coralie. They were a great help to us. It took a lot of worry away from us knowing they were helping take care of her. The girls helped mom with her cleaning, appointments, shopping etc. I would highly recommend Almost Heaven to anyone with an elderly relative. Thanks again for all your help.“
