“We had an infestation of grubs and they destroyed our lawn, absolute devastation. We have two acres of lawn so we're not talking a 'little repair job' either, this was huge! I called Leavitt Earthworks and they came right out, I think it was either that day or the next, too, which is both unheard of and wonderful. The assessment was made that grubs had definitely ruined the lawn and that we were going to need A LOT of help, like 110 yards of loam kind of help.
The crew showed up at 8:00 am and the magic began, the dump trucks brought the loam and the bulldozer began leveling and grading and by noon, they were finished! They made what we had feared was going to be a nightmare that lasted for days look like a 'little project', we were amazed and delighted. They are professionals who are great at their jobs, the grading they did with the bulldozer actually made our lawn better, too, level everywhere and so much easier to mow now. I would highly recommend Leavitt Earthworks, their expertise and their professionalism turned what could have been a potential nightmare into a positive experience for us. There was even a follow-up visit a week later to 'just check in and make sure everything is going well', how often does that happen?! Call today, you will, not regret it.

Since Ed Dunn was never a Gilbert Homes customer, it's hard to tell how accurate his account is, but I'd like to address this anyway. If I knew who the customer is it would make it a little easier to respond.Like many builders, we hire Quality Insulation to take care of all of our insulation needs. They use the proper baffles to insure that the eave vents don't get clogged. If we were aware that a mistake was made, Quality Ins. would fix it at no cost to us.Northeastern General Contractors does all of our ground work and they have an excellent reputation. If a boulder was against the foundation, they wouldn't be able to remove the wooden forms. Also, the code enforcement officer inspects the foundation before it's back filled. He wouldn't pass it if it was wrong. Did you dig up the foundation and see a boulder? For the leach field, I don't know which house you're talking about, but if it was done wrong Northeastern would fix it for us an no charge to Gilbert Homes.The only Facebook post taken down (to my knowledge) was a complaint from a person renting an apartment from Gilbert Properties, which is NOT Gilbert Homes.Gilbert Homes has an excellent BBB rating.“

“Village Builders transformed our dark, icky basement into a beautiful, functional space. They designed, built and finished 2 bedrooms, a rec space and a bathroom. They also created a beautiful staircase leading to the upstairs living room from the basement. The estimate was fair and thorough and they stuck to it. Each part of the crew was skilled and knew what they were doing. Huge shout out to Jeff who paid close attention to detail (put up with my dog and kids) and is an excellent carpenter and to George who did a great job communicating who was coming and what they would be doing each week.
