After going through 6 primary care physicians, I finally found Dr. Lewis Holmes. He is kind, compassionate, respectful, and honest. He understands that sometimes navigating our healthcare system is difficult and remains caring even when he is inundated. Our entire family goes to Martin's Point.

Really compassionate staff members, as well as some of the best CNA'S, nurses, and others Included. Most likely will get a timely response from support staff. But trying to get in here since covid has been a battle. Waits can be up to 8 months for a physical, or 3 for a med checkup.. or a follow up ect. If it's not urgent and messages passed to your doctors through on call nurses or without calling directly to speak to a nurse... ( which could take hours to days sometime ).... the chances of getting in to see even your own doctor in a timely fashion is basically not existent... I have been a regular patient since 1984 and have always been treated with upmost respect. My husband and my 2 daughters have also been patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I particularly love the patient portal. No question goes unanswered no matter how unimportant it may seem to the doctor. The doctors, the lab, the pharmacy, the physical therapy , all are very professional. I’m very happy and pleased with Martin’s Point at Veranda St. Portland, Me.
