“As a Chinese-American bride, it was important for me to have an Asian HMU artist who understood how to work with my skin and hair. She truly listened to what I wanted, while still providing her professional expertise (which is what I needed as someone who is indecisive and inexperienced). By the end of my trial, I knew I had picked the right person and felt complete confidence in her work. On my wedding day, I looked and felt both beautiful and myself. And my bridal party looked just as good.

However, beyond just doing a great job on our hair and makeup, what I appreciated most is the energy that Kong brought. She is hilarious, honest and fun. She took the time to connect with me and I felt not only trust in her as a HMU artist, but as a person.
