When I came to Jade, I was hopeful for relief but also doubtful that anyone could make much difference with my neck pain and restricted mobility as it had been going on for so long. Within the first few visits, I could tell that things were heading in the right direction, thanks to Samar’s well paced approach! The combination of hands-on treatment, work in the gym and my home program were the secret sauce! I would highly recommend Samar to anyone looking to have better health and mobility. She is deeply knowledgeable, kind and passionate about her work!
I saw Melissa at Jade for physical therapy during my pregnancy and for several months postpartum, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. During pregnancy, she helped me stay active and pain-free, which made a huge difference in my quality of life. After my c-section, her expertise in scar tissue massage and postpartum recovery has been invaluable - she's helped improve tissue mobility and guided me back to a place where I can exercise regularly and confidently again.

I've had the most amazing experience receiving acupuncture from Chris. I began to visit him after a bout of vertigo, likely attributed to an inner ear disorder. After just one appointment with Chris, my anxiety levels had decreased, my sleep improved, and months later I'm happy to say the vertigo is much more manageable.
Not only is Chris a skilled acupuncturist, but he has fantastic recommendations for herbal treatments, ear seeds, cupping, and so much more. Chris always made me feel seen and heard at every appointment and is simply such a kind and grounded person. I'm devastated that he's leaving the Portland area, but wish him all the best in his future endeavors!!
