The quality of the service is outstanding, but what truly makes this salon special is the quality of the people. Justin and Jess are talented, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely care about making you feel comfortable and confident. You can tell they take pride in their work and in the relationships they build with their clients. I have been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

Jessica is such a great stylist and colorist, I highly recommend her. She is able to get my highlights the exact cool tone I want (champagne/beige) without brassiness or yellow- something that other stylists consistently struggle with. The quality of her work is outstanding. My hair has never looked better and she gives very practical advice. There is never any pressured upselling. The salon feels upscale and I love the historic downtown Portland ambiance.

I’ve had my haircut by Justin 2 times now, both 6 years apart. When I was younger I was lucky enough to get one of my favorite haircuts ever — one Justin gave me at the age of 15! I spent a while going to cheap salons in high school and college but when I decided it was time for a more consistent barber — I immediately thought of my perfect haircut I had gotten so long ago. Not only is Justin incredible at the hands-on process, he is careful to make sure you are confident from the beginning to end of your appointment.
