Josh was amazing, full stop.
I had initially planned to get a few small flash tattoos, but we got to talking about my recent obsession with seahorses, and he ran with it in the best way. (Just look at this design. He drew this on the spot!)
I've been to several tattoo artists over the years—we travel full time, and I'm casually building a patchwork sleeve—and I would trust Josh with absolutely any project moving forward. He was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic. The ~4 hours I spent in the studio were a delight all around.
My wife and I were in from central PA for our 3 year anniversary. We've been coming to Bath, ME (or close by) each year for the occasion. This time we wanted to get a lifelong souvenir. We searched for a tattoo shop while visiting Portland and found Broken Crow Collective. After a quick review of artist Josh's work, we knew we had found an awesome shop. Josh was super welcoming and accommodating of our schedule. My wife performed a true walk-in appointment and chose one of many great options Josh has in his binder. My girlfriend and I go to tyler we have now gotten 7 tattoos by him, he is quite literally the best in his line of work, professional, neat, quick, and just overall stunning. he’s done realism, fine line, and pointillism. and has exceeded our expectations by a mile. another not is when he is nearing the end of your tattoo he will wipe down and go over it and look many times just to be sure he gets it all filled and done, you can tell him tattooing is not just a job to him but his hobby, his passion and genuinely loves tattooing others and perfecting his craft absolutely amazing dude, 10/10 would reccomend!
