The Breakwater Inn & Spa offers a variety of experiences. The rooms are generally clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the river and beach. Guests have enjoyed the comfortable beds and the spacious porches where they can socialize. The attached restaurant serves good food, and the complementary bikes are very convenient for exploring the area. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Dock Square and Colony Beach, making it easy to explore nearby stores and restaurants. Although the property could use some updating, recent management is working on improvements. Service has been praised for being helpful and welcoming, contributing to a great stay. The inn also features a gym that is clean and well-equipped for workouts.
My stay at the Breakwater Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine was nothing short of magical—especially in the winter. Fun hotel in a cute town. Came in the off season so many things were closed but the hotel itself was wonderful with a great view of the water. Port Fish restaurant was also delicious. Shout out to Rhonda for being awesome!
We had an amazing time, the perfect holiday getaway. Rhonda, the live-in innkeeper, was the kindest and most accommodating staff we could have wished for. There was a misunderstanding about our booking and Rhonda fixed everything and even gave us an upgrade. The views from the windows were also beautiful!
